African Coffee

Coffees from Africa are alluring and complex, and have remarkable berry or floral aromas, tasting of citrus fruits, cocoa, and spice. They are very consistent in quality. Currently we have the following varietals to choose from:

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe ** Dark roast **Unique in itself exposing great floral and tangerine notes with a coconut aroma and chocolate after tones.  Full body with an excellent mouth feel...My favotrite morning brew.

Zimbabwe ** Medium/Dark roast ** The "Hidden" wonder with excellent acidity, medium body and a full rich flavor culminating in a heavenly after taste.  A great coffee to impress your friends.

Tanzanian Peaberry ** Medium/Dark roast ** Medium body, very soft and clean in the cup serving up a rich and mellow treat.  The newest addition to our family and one of the shops' favorite.  This one is made to cuddle up with a good  book or an old Lana Turner movie.

Ethiopian Harrar ** Medium roast ** Considered a "Wild Coffee" because of its' complexities.  Experience blueberries, cocoa, and a touch of cinnamon and cardomom.  Medium body - low acidity.  I think this is the coffee the goat hearder found way back when and it's been going strong ever since.  A true daily favorite.
